A release date accompanies the trailer for Pieces Of A Woman, starring Vanessa Kirby and Shia LaBeouf – more here.
Netflix has dropped the trailer for Pieces Of A Woman, an upcoming drama featuring Vanessa Kirby (The Crown) and Shia LeBeouf (The Peanut Butter Falcon).
The film’s plot follows the pair, who play a Boston-based couple who face a life-changing encounter with an unnerved midwife, occurring when they have a home birth at the climax of their pregnancy.
Emotional turmoil, courtroom drama and a meditation of the nature of relationships in the midst of familial turmoil are all set to be explored in what looks like a powerful and moving film. The movie is directed by Kornel Mundruczo from a script penned by Kata Weber.
Pieces Of A Woman is set, in the US at least, for a short theatrical run beginning December 30th. It will release on the streaming platform on January 7th. In the meantime, you can check out the trailer below.
