Catch a glimpse of Sharlto Copley playing the notorious terrorist Ted K, ahead of the film’s release later this month.

The trailer for Ted K has been revealed ahead of the film’s US launch in under two weeks. District 9‘s Copley plays the disturbed American terrorist, with the film charting his shift from paranoid landowner to violent bomber, enraged by the incursion of modern life into his secluded existence in the mountains.

The film is being distributed by Altitude here in the UK, but there’s no firm release details announces as yet from the distributor. Copley is absorbing in the trailer however, so we’ll keep you updated when we hear more, as Ted K might be one worth seeking out.

We’ll leave you with the official synopsis (and that trailer).

Synopsis first…

From the mind of acclaimed director Tony Stone comes TED K — a bracing, cinematic journey into the tortured mind of The Unabomber. Deep in the American Rocky Mountains lived a man who sought refuge from modern society. His dark writings forewarned of a society ruled by technology. As the outside world encroached on his mountain sanctuary, he slowly became radicalized with rage. What began with small acts of sabotage, culminated with deadly bomb attacks, national media attention, and the largest manhunt in American history. Actor Sharlto Copley brings a dark intensity and unnerving intimacy to this chilling portrait of America’s most notorious and enigmatic terrorist.
