We’re looking to use our print and online platforms to help UK independent cinemas and filmmakers – details all right this way.

We’re currently hard at work on the new issue of Film Stories magazine, and one of the things we’re looking to do with it is extend our support to UK independent cinemas and filmmakers still further.

Thus, there are two things we’re in the midst of putting together, and the opportunity is here for you to get involved.

Firstly, if you’re an independent cinema in the UK, we’re putting together a guide to UK indies and ways people can support them. If you want to get involved, please send us a few brief details of your cinema, ideally a print quality picture, and how people can support you. Do you have a membership scheme or anything like that? Let us know. Let us use our platform to give you some publicity.

The same goes for UK independent filmmakers with productions hit by the lockdown. We fully get that the festival circuit is crucial for indie films, and without it, many are going to struggle to get noticed.

Again, we want to use our platforms to do something to help. If you have an indie film you’re looking to get coverage for, we’re using our magazine and website to do something about that. Get in touch and tell us more.

The email address you need for both of these is screenings at filmstories co uk.

Wishing you all the very best, and take care.
