Universal Soldier has been remastered and is heading back to disc next month.

Described not unreasonably as “a fun action-packed adventure with bad ass super soldiers”, Roland Emmerich’s 90s hit Universal Soldier is the recipient next month of a brand new disc release.

StudioCanal is reissuing the film in DVD, Blu-ray and also Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray, with a release inked in for November 4th.

Starring, of course, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren, the movie comes with quite a few extras too, including a pair of commentary tracks, and a pair of making of documentaries. The alternative ending to the film is included as well.

The film has been fully restored, and a limited edition Steelbook is also arriving, exclusive to Zavvi.

It’s up for preorder now. Here’s the boxart for the 4K version.
