The Urban Legend movies are getting a special boxset, following in the path of the upcoming I Know What You Did Last Summer release.
Heading to Blu-ray just this side of Christmas is the I Know What You Did Last Summer trilogy of films, that are being assembled into a boxset and put on sale. 88 Films has put together the set, and you can find out more about that here.
But looking further ahead, 88 Films we now learn has also signed up the Urban Legend trilogy of movies. This was a franchise that came to life in 1998 in the slipstream of the original Scream movie. Urban Legends: Final Cut followed in 2000 from director John Ottman (the Oscar-winning editor of Bohemian Rhapsody), whilst in 2005 Mary Lambert helmed Urban Legends: Bloody Mary.
There are few details of the boxset as of yet, short of the fact that it’s going to be with us next March. But given the job that 88 Films appears to have made of the I Know What You Did Last Summer collection, we’d suggest this will be really rather special too.
