Andy Serkis is set to direct Tom Hardy in Venom 2, and work is underway in the UK.
Over the summer, it was confirmed that the upcoming sequel to Venom, starring Tom Hardy, will have a British director at the helm. Andy Serkis is taking over as helmer on Venom 2 from Ruben Fleischer.
Now we learn too that the movie’s production is going to be based primarily in the UK too. Pre-production is underway on the movie in Britain, with filming set to kick off before the end of the year.
Kelly Marcel has penned the screenplay for the movie, and joining Tom Hardy in the cast for the sequel will be Michelle Williams. Further casting is yet to be announced.
Expect the film to arrive in cinemas in the autumn of 2020. More details on it as we hear it.
