Tom Hardy returns in the sequel to Venom, that’s shooting in the UK.

Production has now kicked off on the follow-up to 2018’s hit Spider-Man spin-off movie, Venom.

The original movie starred Tom Hardy in the title role, and he’s reprising it for Venom 2. Also back is Michelle Williams, and screenwriter Kelly Marcel.

But there is a significant change in personnel. Ruben Fleischer directed the original film, but he’s vacated the chair for the sequel. In his place comes Andy Serkis, who will be helming the movie.

What’s more, filming is now underway on Venom 2. Production has kicked off in the UK, which is where the bulk of the film’s work will be taking place.

There’s a good few months of shooting ahead, with the film earmarked for release on 2nd October 2020. More as we hear it.
