Tom Hardy is back as Eddie Brock in the second Venom film, Venom: Let There Be Carnage as a new trailer is released.

Following up 2018’s successful standalone Venom film, Sony has released a trailer for the eagerly awaited sequel Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Returning as the lead Eddie Brock, we see Tom Hardy learning to live in blissful harmony with Venom. It seems chaotic, but there’s also waffles.

Alongside Hardy are Michelle Williams and Woody Harrelson. Harrelson only appeared in the original film for a brief mid-credits cameo to set up the sequel and his role as Venom’s most infamous foe, Carnage. The trailer gives us plenty to enjoy of Harrelson’s performance. He was tapped during the original film due to his work in 1994’s Natural Born Killers, and as we all know, he’s never one to phone in a part.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage has been written by female screenwriter Kelly Marcel who co-wrote the first films screenplay with Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg. Andy Serkis has taken up the director’s mantle from Ruben Fleischer, making this his third feature length film as a director.

Check out the trailer below and let us know if you’re hyped to see this one on the big screen later this year.
