Venom: Let There Be Carnage is confirmed for DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in the UK for January – with digital releases even quicker.

Bigger than James Bond in America, Andy Serkis’ Venom sequel, Venom: Let There Be Carnage has emerged as one of the big movie hits of the autumn. I’m absolutely sure, ahem, that the presence of Tom Hardy had nothing to do with that.

Sony is now preparing the film for its home release, and in the UK that’s coming in three stages.

Firstly, you can buy it to download and keep via digital store services from November 29th. Then, on December 24th, you can rent it via those same digital services, for a family Christmas Eve movie night.

Then, the physical media release will follow on January 3rd. Sony is releasing the film on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, and there are extra features too.

You can find the store listing and order yourself a copy right here.

Those extras? Nearly forgot. On the DVD version, you get…

  • Let There Be… Action: Go on the set and experience the action of how Venom: Let There Be Carnage takes shape. From concept to stage, from green screen to film screen, follow the making of the film and see the intense stunts that were captured.

And on the Blu-ray and 4K version, on top of that, you also get…

  • Outtakes & Bloopers
  • 6 Deleted Scenes
  • Eddie & Venom: The Odd Couple: What happens when two beings inhabit one body? A whole lot of chaos. Tom Hardy, Andy Serkis, and the team of filmmakers talk all things Eddie and Venom.
  • Sick and Twisted Cletus Kasady: Imagining this iconic and psychotic comic book villain for screen with Woody Harrelson, director Andy Serkis, and the production team.
  • Concept to Carnage: Trace the design and animation of Carnage from comic book image to screen symbiotic.

All versions are available to preorder right now…
