Universal Pictures and Fast And Furious 9 are ready to welcome us back to the cinemas in a new promotional video.

In a new video released by Universal Pictures, Vin Diesel is ready to welcome us home to the movies. The clip sees Vin Diesel talk about the joy of the cinema alongside more scenes of the upcoming Fast And Furious 9. There’s little new footage, but it’s a surprisingly moving video, highlighting the importance of coming back together.

F9 is the ninth chapter in the Fast & Furious Saga, which has endured for two decades and has earned more than $5 billion around the world. After being held back from release due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it seems fitting that Fast And Furious 9 will be one of the first films welcoming us back. In case you’ve missed the film’s premise or need a little reminder –

‘Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto is leading a quiet life off the grid with Letty and his son, little Brian, but they know that danger always lurks just over their peaceful horizon. This time, that threat will force Dom to confront the sins of his past if he’s going to save those he loves most. His crew joins together to stop a world-shattering plot led by the most skilled assassin and high-performance driver they’ve ever encountered: a man who also happens to be Dom’s forsaken brother, Jakob (John Cena, the upcoming The Suicide Squad).’

Fast & Furious 9 is out on the 8th July 2021, celebrating 20 years of the Fast Saga.
