The French Disptach is arriving in the UK in August, and here’s the trailer.

Coming soon from the newly monikered Searchlight Pictures is the latest movie from bona fide auteur, Wes Anderson. It goes by the name of The French Dispatch, and as you’d expect, it comes with one hell of an ensemble. Benicio del Toro, Adrien Brody, Tilda Swinton, Léa Seydoux, Frances McDormand, Timothée Chalamet, Lyna Khoudri, Jeffrey Wright, Mathieu Amalric, Stephen Park, Bill Murray and Owen Wilson are on the call sheet.

The film is a collection of tales from the final issue of an American magazine that’s being published in France, with the New Yorker magazine believed to be the inspiration. And after a drip feed of promotional material this week, here’s the first full trailer for the film…

And the rather impressive poster, too…

We get the film quite late in the UK, following the US release by a few weeks. Expect it on Friday 28th August. More as we hear it.
