Signature has signed up a host of 1990s and 2000s movies that it’ll be adding to the Amazon Prime Video streaming service in the UK – details here.

The quiet growth of Signature Entertainment in the UK continues, with the firm distributing several films a month, many of which may not get British distribution without it. And now, it’s snapped up a bunch of 90s and 2000s movies as it looks to broaden its catalogue of library releases. As such, in July, it’s going to be bringing the following to Amazon Prime Video’s streaming service. These will be available to Prime subscribers and won’t require an extra charge, and here’s what to expect and when…

July 3rd

Wilde (Stephen Fry)

The Great Gilly Hopkins (Kathy Bates, Glenn Close)

Chatroom (Aaron Taylor-Johnson)

Don’t Move (Penelope Cruz)

Mother And Child (Naomi Watts)

July 24th

Cruel Intentions

We Were Soldiers

187 (Samuel L Jackson)

Bless The Child (Kim Basinger)

All Dogs Go To Heaven

The Killing Fields

Rock-A-Doodle

The Admiral (Charles Dance)

August 3rd

Under Suspicion (Morgan Freeman)

Muriel’s Wedding

The Contender (Gary Oldman)

It’s good to see some of these titles getting a fresh lease of life, and hopefully this is just the start of a lot more films coming this way via Signature. More as we hear it.
