The Statham and Kevin Hart are about to start filming The Man From Toronto.
Yesterday’s news in the movie career of The Statham was that he was potentially being lined up for a spin-off from The Expendables. Today? He’s set to team up with Kevin Hart for a new action comedy film, that’s going by the name The Man From Toronto.
It’s a Sony Pictures project, that has a mistaken identity plot at its heart. Basically, a deadly assassin and a down on his luck man from New York get mixed up together.
Pulling the film together is The Expendables 3 and The Hitman’s Bodyguard director Patrick Hughes. The plan is to get this moving really rather quickly, too. Robbie Fox has already written the script, the film should go before the cameras in March, and a release at the end of November is being pencilled in. Crikey.
